      looks kind of disappointing. Too Hollywood. The real Aeon Flux was freakishly skinny and alien, and didn't speak.

        I have to agree. The whole movie looks a bit boring compared to what they COULD have done with settings and costumes and something a bit more exotic/alien. She looks totally wrong.

        But I'll still go see it. :D

          yeah I'll see it but it's a thousand million times different than the *real* Aeon Flux, who is a crazy creepy sexy curvy bug-eating babe... and hella lethal. Not like wimpy mcwimpette Charlize Theron...

          so sad. they totally fucked it up.

            I actually read somewhere that Theron required a wardrobe-change to play the main role, because she thought it was riddiculous to "hop around in an action movie in briefs and a bra and straps." So now she's in pants or some crap like that.

            Milla Jovovitch woulda been cool. Just anyone sexy and spindly and capable of ferocity in a gaze and death delivered in a pinch. Lucy Lawless or Angelina Jolie half starved would be perfect. Actually, I think Angelina coulda done it even without starving herself... but with the Lara Croft following, it may not have worked.

          Anne Parillaud (La Femme Nikita)
          Kate Beckinsale (Underworld)
          Demi Moore
          (yeah.... she's older, but come ON - GI Jane did kick ass and she was diabolical in Charlie's Angels; and I know she's preggers... this is my fantasy list)
          Uma Thurman (maybe too close to Kill Bill.... but am I right?!)

          my head is hurting now trying to think of all those indie flick chicks that would've been cool.

          oh oh.... HOW ABOUT ME!!!

              If I remember it rite the original cartoon was played on MTV? well thats besides the point, I loved it, crazy ass cartoon and you never know what the hell is goin on in it...but the movie looks...kinda waterd down
