Re: legal military-style rifle
Thu, July 1, 2004 - 8:29 AMI love rifles that have bipods integrated into the stock, and not external. I wish HK's would have this sometime.

Re: legal military-style rifle
Mon, July 5, 2004 - 9:49 AMHmmm, I wouldn't have thought that anyone would have accused the Kel-Tec as being a military style rifle, and since you call it 'legal', I have to assume you are from Kali, since most states don't have a problem with most military style semi-autos. For that kind of money, you could have a pretty nice FAL, CETME, or HK-G3 clone. Also, you could probably find 2 AKs for that kind of money, or at least Saigas, which are really AKs.
Take a look at this:
www.eaacorp.com/firearms/s...etice.shtml
It is basically a politically correct AK, which can be changed to a politically incorrect AK by studying the procedure here:

Fri, July 9, 2004 - 7:32 PMGood design on the Kel-Tec SU-1, I do like that the side scales fold into a bipod... kinda looks like they might break fairly easily though, would have to check it out myself....
This is a link to my favorite gun sellers site in the whole wide world ( or at least the states) www.gunsnstuff.net/
FAL, CETME, G3's, Shotguns, Handguns, Ammo... Man they got it ALL! -

Re: legal military-style rifle
Fri, July 9, 2004 - 8:48 PMYeah, I spend a lot of money with them, but mainly on parts, since I build my own. I have been tempted to procure one of those Commie Winchester 1897 pump gun replicas from them, however. In trench broom trim, those things look awful wicked. -

Re: legal military-style rifle
Sat, August 14, 2004 - 10:25 PMOn the cheap military rifle thread, here are a couple cheap ways to get an AR-15 (for non-Californians):
www.olyarms.com/popup/plinker.html MSRP $598
www.olyarms.com/usa.html $449 + stripped lower (~$100)
I have no relationship with Olympic Arms and not even any of there guns, though I plan to get a pistol caliber AR upper from them. I am an AR-15 nut, though.
Best, Don
